Dagma is the exclusive distributor of solutions offered by the Slovak company ESET. These solutions concern protection of computers and networks against viruses, spyware, bugs, trojan, adware and other dangers coming from Internet. Recently, ESET has launched a new product - antivirus system called NOD32. It can be bought as an independent program or in the ESET Smart Security package.

Project description

In the end of 2008, the ESET Smart Security package was launched on Polish market. In order to acquaint people with the new product and to increase sales, Dagma asked us to prepare a marketing campaign in Google AdWords system. Promotion is run in the Google search engine and on the partner websites as texts, graphics and video. A user interested in product is immediately redirected to the on-line shop. Kompan.pl observed the whole campaign thanks to Google Analytics.

Kompan.pl approach

The essential element of the campaign was to create profiles for domains: eset.pl and gra.eset.pl in Google Analytics. Thanks to that, the reports about the webtraffic show which domain is concerned. Additionally, to make the numbers more reliable, the webtraffic from Dagma was separated. Currently, the system counts the website entries caused by AdWords campaign or other marketing actions we undertook. What's important for us is the number of people playing the flash game on the website, downloading the trial version of ESET Smart Security, registering and shopping in the on-line store.
